Figures out what has changed in the last 12 hours. Change the author to yourself, change the time since to whatever you want.

list block devices
Shows all block devices in a tree with descruptions of what they are.

coloured shell prompt
This coloured prompt will show: username in green, grey "@" sign, hostname in red, current directory in yellow, typed commands in green.

Random Number Between 1 And X
If X is 5, it will about a number between 1 and 5 inclusive. This works in bash and zsh. If you want between 0 and 4, remove the +1.

Test http request every second, fancy display.
Use the command watch, which is really hard to pass nested quotes to, and insert newlines where they are supposed to go in the HTTP request. that is after 1.1 after the host and two newlines at the end before the EOF. i use this all day what? no support for HEREDOCs on commandlinefu's interface? need more fu.

Use Cygwin to talk to the Windows clipboard
I spent a bunch of time yesterday looking for the xsel package in Cygwin- turns out you can use the /dev/clipboard device to do the same thing.

Audio convert is a script that uses zenity and lame to transcode virtually any format to any other format provided you have the libraries installed to do so.
